Death Wish is not just a shoot-em-up revenge story...It's socially conscious, full of heart and emotional depth...Paul is not crazy, only desperately bitter after his wife and daughter are assaulted.
..kind-of like Straw Dogs, this film shows a man who will no longer cower in the corner and remain passive while innocent people are hurt.
