Review of Death Wish (1974) by Robert P — 10 Oct 2007
Bronson's melted putty face is hilarious - had to get that out of the way. And if you want to see Jeff Goldblum rape someone (seriously) then this is your movie. Enjoyed it, cos I love gritty revenge shiznit, and killing in the name of your family is always a good enough reason for me.
Just wish that Bronson had shown a bit more emotion - when he was told his wife died, he looked like he was deciding if he needed a wee or not. Nevertheless - good fun. Although a remake directed by John Woo/Tony Scott and starring Nicolas Cage (no-one cries like him) would be well recieved.
