Review of Death Wish (1974) by David T — 26 Mar 2008
First off, I was shocked that this is a Michael Winner film.
Charles Bronson stars in this film about one man's vendetta against the crooks and vermin of New York city after his wife is brutally murdered and daughter sexually assaulted by a bunch of hooligans lead by none other then Jeff "Jurassic Park" Goldblum in his first film.
Big Charlie Bronson is some what vexed by the whole ordeal and takes it upon himself to rid his neighbourhood of scum bags by slaying them were they stand with his pistol.
A very entertaining film, and if like me you love Taxi Driver, French Connection and Serpico then this is gonna be up your street.
Next time I see a Chav picking on some old dear, I'm gonna cap his ass Bronson style.
