Review of Death Wish (1974) by Matt T — 12 Jan 2009
A bit inconsistent in some ways but a good revenge film.
The horror of the first scene was bizarrely countered by the funniest line in the film "Why haven't you found my dog? He's vital to my income, he paints such wonderful pictures with his paws!".
What was that about?!
The film probably would have been better had Michael Winner not directed it.
Calm down dear, it's not such a bad film.
