Review of Death Wish (1974) by Trent C — 18 Apr 2009
A good movie about the moral ambiguities of vigilantism. Charles Bronson is his usual amazing self, and the movie also includes the first screen role for Jeff Goldblum... as a rapist no less.
Apparently the sequels jettison all moral ambiguities for just killing bad guys, but this one is more of a thinker. I'd still call it a right wing film in line with Dirty Harry though.
