Review of Death Wish (1974) by Kevin H — 03 Sep 2009
Nice and gritty 70s action thriller about one man's war against street crime. I would call this revenge movie if he killed guys who got this whole thing started, but he doesn't even meet them. Movie is very slow on today's standards but it has atmosphere.
Jeff Goldblum was hilarious as gangmember. Curious thing is that at the end main character moves to Chicago and clearly is going to continue his work there ... still sequel takes place in Los Angeles.
Well, going to watch that next.
