Review of Death Wish (1974) by Daniel S — 06 Feb 2013

This is a pretty iconic film so I figured I'd check it out, I guess I can see why it became popular, playing on the people's feeling of anger over rising crime levels and ineffectiveness of the police, bronson is solid in the lead, and his son in law was good too, I was surprised how much it takes its time, the killing doesnt really start till halfway through, its not really that different from any other vigilante film, I guess this gets credit for being the first one, its also funny seeing young jeff goldblum pop up as a rapist.
