Review of Death to Smoochy (2002) by Geoff O — 22 Feb 2010
Danny DeVito directing a movie may sound crazy, but he somehow pulled it off with the hilarious performances from the always-funny Robin Williams and amazing Edward Norton. "Death to Smoochy" has its serious parts but even if you would call it serious, it is hilarious in many ways.
Edward Norton who plays (Sheldon Mopes / Smoochy the Rhino) who replaces Randolph Smiley(Robin Williams) who got kicked off of a kids show and onto the street. But Smoochy finds out that some of the people that he works with, and some he doesn't know he's working for, are all in it for the money.
And then you have Robin Williams who plays Randolph Smiley who is slowly turning insane with his only thoughts focusing on killing Smoochy and getting back to his life of luxury.
