Review of Death to Smoochy (2002) by Ben S — 05 Oct 2010
Death To Smoochy is carried by its stacked cast which performs very well, they fit their roles prefectly. It's story is dark and original, the way the movie was shot was interesting in its own way the way Danny DeVito stressed colors along with some aspects of the story and how the characters acted at times would lead the viewer to believe they were watching a childrens movie. But at the same time the movie was so dark and violent that the viewer is quickly brought back to the film's dark side.
Overall Death To Smoochy was a fun and origial movie, but in the end the story is still un-rewarding because of its lackluster finale.
