Review of Death Sentence (2007) by Dana P — 15 Jun 2009
Genuinly compelling and heart breaking at times its a shame this film takes detours and becomes unrealistic. As gritty as it is Garrett Hedlund does not make a good main antagonist and as a result the driving force of the narrative is restricted a little bit.
The resolution is at best depressing and the main message of the film becomes lost underneath the seemingly unintentional theory conveyed that you are powerless to stop terrible things from happening.
