Review of Death Sentence (2007) by Connor P — 19 May 2011
The violent death of his son causes Kevin Bacon to go vigilante on the gangbangers involved. During that time his family begins to fall apart as they become so focused on the loss of their son/brother and soon forget what they have left (each other).
The fathers vigilante acts set off a chain of events that causes grevious consequences for the entire family before dad goes all death wish. Even though there are moments of strong violence the movies story has a strong anti-violence message and tries to show that violence and revenge solves nothing.
