Review of Death Sentence (2007) by Seth B — 07 Dec 2012
I love this movie. It's good but I am like Peter in Family Guy screaming "You could have had both!" If he just planned out his revenge he could have put his family somewhere first, hired private security, and make sure to do the fucking murders properly.
Isn't he supposed to have money? That way you don't have the police and gangs bothering you. You just sit up on a building with a sniper and the next time those little fucks get out of their hot rod van you shoot them through the eyeball.
I saw a lot in the film and it made me think about a lot, but you do have to have imagination to do that. I found the chase scenes gut wrenching, they hunt like dogs. Especially when he kills that second pack member.
They've hounded him for so long he knows he has to kill that one to survive. The way they make a war cry when they hunt. They're determined, aggressive, and dangerous. But he can think. When somebody with a brain previously used to do benign tasks, snaps, that's a person to look out for.
Too bad Kevin Bacon was not more careful with his things Wife and Son.
