"Death Sentence" was so depressing and unlikeable, I would avoid it at all costs. The story is interesting enough and both Kevin Bacon and Garrett Hedlund put out some pretty good performances.
.. but it's just not worth it. It's a gruesome movie. Violence is used in place of a decent plot or resolution.
