The first half is honestly great, but I'm having a hard time realizing why this is a movie. Everyone, the actors, the director, everyone did a good job. The story was just god awful. It's pretty good and then it's just terrible and goes where it can't recover.
I thought James Wan really did a good job with all of the different camera angles and little shots he used to tell the story, but it just wasn't a story at all. Bad movie.
