Review of Death Row Diner (1988) by Michael T — 28 Dec 2008
The film came out in 1988 and is long out of print on VHS and with the cult surrounding "Scream Queen" Michelle Bauer fading in recent years, I suspect it will not be released on DVD. A Hollywood tycoon is framed for murder and dies in the electric chair (uh, didn't California send its deathrow inmates to the gas chamber in those days? Why do I even know that fact?).
He returns from the dead to wreak vengeance and have supper, guess what's on the menu. I remember a lot of gore and Michelle took her clothes off a number of times, so it was a typical late-1980s direct-to-VHS explotation film.
