Paul W.S. Anderson directs the remake of the cult pop/kitch original Death Race 2000 from 1975. This new version is very different, updated for nowadays crowd but still manages to highly spectacular & much darker than the original.
Jason Statham is always very likeable & here once again the magic operates perfectly. too bad the film is such a B Grade type of film but in a way it suits well the story.... fun, dumb & entertaining.
...what could we wish more?
