Paul WS Anderson delivers the pulse-pounding death races with a full-throttle, anything-goes style that hit the spot. I didn't compare this with it's past incarnation, but Death Race has a visual verve and desire to please action junkies who want their car crashes, explosions, and hand-to-hand combats.
