There's something about Jason Statham that's just very appealing and I think that helped keep this more watchable for me. I have a very hard time staying focused on a movie that's almost entirely car chases.

My brain just has difficulty processing what's going on, I get bored, and then my mind wanders to other thoughts even if I'm staring at the screen the entire time. The same thing happens during football games.

But this really wasn't that bad if you know what you're getting yourself into. I really liked the intros to the show within the movie and the leaderboard where they would cross out the dead racers as the death toll increased.

And the gritty look of everything made it all seem more dangerous and cool. Cheesy, but easily better that I expected!
