Death Race is a decent film. It is about an ex-con who is forced by the warden of a notorious prison to compete in our post-industrial world's most popular sport: a car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory.
Jason Statham and Joan Allen give good performances. The script is alright but nothing original. Paul W.S. did an okay job directing this movie. I like this motion picture but not one of my favorites.
