Review of Death Race 2000 (1975) by Alex L — 24 Mar 2008
There are movies that make us laugh, movies that make us cry. There are movies that inspire, enlighten, and teach us lessons. Then, there are movies like Death Race 2000, which manage to do everything that movies can do, all the while killing the soul of anyone who has the fortune of viewing it.
This film is a pure, uninhibited, exercise in chaos and madness. It is both one of the silliest, yet most imaginative films you'll ever see. A dichotomy between nonsense and genius. This film is a dilemma.
This film is eternal.
