Review of Death Race 2000 (1975) by Max M — 18 Jul 2009
Set in the near future (which is now nine years in the past) an annual cross-country race is held from New York to "New Los Angeles" in which the country's top drivers, such as "Machine Gun" Joe Viterbo (Sylvester Stallone in an early role) and Frankenstein (David Carradine) compete for points by running down pedestrians, both old and young.
Absolutely ridiculous, silly, violent, and hilarious. Needless to say, a helluva fun movie.
