To bad movies of the "future" didn't require this much talent. This brilliantly written and directed movie by Paul Bartel, Robert Thom & Charles B Griffith, only thru their individual and combined genius, could have so accurately predicted the year 2000 and beyond.
Anyone who would not ponder a harbinger of the passing of 1975 after seeing "Death Race 2000" would be stuck in the 1950's forever. It is almost eerie how a low budget satire of yester-year rings so true for today.
