Review of Death Race 2 (2010) by Gman H — 03 Jan 2011
Throw away B movie prequel to the more polished, Stathams Death Race. Luke Goss is passable in the lead, as the con who becomes Frankinstein. Sean Bean is abysmal as the American drug lord with a thick Sheffield accent, how this mans made a living, let alone a very comfortable one as an a actor is beyond me.
See Ronin, he was Sir Ian Mckellan in that compared to this. Never walks and talks at the same time on screen, would probably fall over. Lots of cliche characters, writers havent stretched themselves, but ok to pass an hour an half for a bit of no brainer fun.
