An uninspired Quentin Tarantino tries through complex dialogues to make characters that are meant to be shallow into interesting ones, without succeeding (except Kurt Russell who steals the movie in the first half).
Although the concept of the movie as a parody of a slasher is quite enjoyable. The scene of the chase is superb!
