Review of Death Proof (2007) by Agosto R — 26 Aug 2012
Only the masterful Quentin Tarantino could make an entire movie about set-up and blast a finale of a conclusion into a car chase nearly on par with that of "Bullit". "Death Proof" is grindhouse B-level pulp fiction that screeches to life around every corner, cramming Tarantino's skilled dialouge with enough crafted gore to make the mouth of any movie fan drool.
In what could be easily described as a spot-on black comedy "Death Proof" exploits women whilst all the while loudly praising them, without the film coming off as forceful. Yowza.
