Review of Death Proof (2007) by Ricky G — 01 Apr 2015
I love Quentin Tarantino he is my favorite director anything he does I will watch but with Death Proof this is probably his weakest film. Kurt Russell plays a crazy guy who likes to kill women with his car the problem is you barely see him kill any women but when he does its brutal.
The dialogue in this movie is kind of clunky and does not have that Pulp Fiction feel to it, with Pulp Fiction you could watch that movie over and over again and never be bored, this movie you have to kind of power through some parts, then there is some great dialogue that makes you interested and intrigued.
What suffers most from the movie is that there is barley and action at all but when there is its awesome. Don't watch this expecting a Tarantino Masterpiece like Fiction, Django, or Inglorious but it still is a fun Tarantino & Rodriguez movie mix.
