Tarantino's movies are so unique that they could almost be considered their own genre, and comparing Death Proof against movies in said genre, Death Proof is resultantly mediocre. The fabulous dialogue for which Tarantino has garnered renown is curiously absent in Death Proof.
Nonetheless, it is entertaining, and contrasted to the spectrum of all that Hollywood has to offer, Death Proof is worth a single viewing.
