Review of Death Proof (2007) by Niccolò N — 05 Oct 2015
Small film in two parts which could look as two separate stories too. Tarantino uses different styles for the two acts of the film : dark and violent, bright and more humourus. You can hear Quentin's trademark dialogue, although it doesn't sound so inventive and fresh, this time around; and violence has never looked so serious in his films as in a certian scene in the first part.
The ending is hilarious, and it's the best thing of the film, yet it's still Tarantino's lowest undertaking to date.
