When a guest is murdered on board a river steamer in Egypt, the famous Belgian detective Poirot must find out who was responsible before more tragedy can strike. Death on the Nile has an old fashioned charm to it, but while the all star cast do their best, it doesn’t add up to anything more than a mildly entertaining detective story that won’t really appeal to anyone that wasn’t already a big fan of the genre.
