Review of Death on the Nile (2022) by Bulgariancritic — 20 Feb 2022
Unfortunately if you were looking for a really pleasing detective movie with good aesthetics and the same kind of vibe as Murder on Orient Express then I would tell you that you will be disappointed in this one.
The movie has a pretty bad start giving us a couple of unnecessary scenes which do not add anything to our characters and plot(also people in 1937 definitely didn't do dirty dancing as they showed it in the movie ).
I am fine with the movie mostly not following the books but the way they experimented with the story and characters fell flat for the most part and didn't work as they wished it. Some of the scenes are gorgeous and acting is pretty great as always but sadly there was barely any intrigue and even the great reveal of who did it fell flat.
I did enjoy this but I was expecting something awesome as the previous movie but sadly it did not deliver.
