I first met Willy Loman my freshman year in college in an American Literature class. I found it intense then, but now, 35 years and three children later, I find it more intense and even a little disturbing. I understand Willy's character in a whole new way now, though I must concede I've been much more fortunate than Willy.
Dustin Hoffman is always a magical actor, bringing just the right touch to every role I've seen him play, and they have been many and varied throughout the years.
