Review of Death of a President (2006) by Jim A — 09 Jun 2007
Controversial for obvious reasons, yet people who have maliciously decried it have not even seen it. This film is not a political movie insofar as a film with an agenda, and the actual assassination is probably the most minimal aspect of the film.
In some ways, it's a sociological thriller with a moral demonstrating what happens when people jump to conclusions. Ironically, everyone jumped to conclusions about this before seeing it. Thought provoking, respectful, suspenseful, and poignant.
