Review of Death of a President (2006) by Jared L — 27 Jun 2007
Though this film is purportedly a "what if" scenario, everything in it is actually "what already is." The film examines events in the wake of Bush's assassination: a suspension of civil liberties, profiling and arrest of Muslims as material witnesses and enemy combatants, an attack on a Middle East country claimed to be connected to the event, the conviction of innocent people, etc etc.
Familiar and relevant.
