Review of Death of a President (2006) by Ben W — 13 Jul 2007
Very intriguing. Really a movie that makes you think a whole lot on both sides - the Bush haters and the warmongers. I feel like it calls into question a lot of American faults - media, fear of Muslims/terrorism, the holes in the justice system, and more.
The reality of it showed me how much hatred and scapegoating this country is doing towards Bush. It's bothersome to see people turn their hatred of war into hatred of their country and the leader of their country.
Kenya's government is corrupt and everyone knows it there, but the people still love their country. Why can't we do the same when we live in a place of incredible freedom and safety in comparison to the rest of the world.
Like I said, it leaves you with a lot to think about.
