Review of Death of a President (2006) by Cherrie Y — 13 Jul 2007
The issue this mockumentary/shockumentary addresses is extremely provocative and startling. The major thing that bothered me was that the film ended so abruptly. Had it been a mockumentary that describes the process of post- and pre-assassination, the movie would have been MUCH better.
The movie as a suspense/thriller type movie near the end really made the viewing experience worse. Good movie but, not something I'd want to sit down and watch over again for many different reasons.
But it does address many issues that we need to face like the racist discrimination that Muslims face in today's society along with how Dick Cheney would move into office if President Bush had died.
