Review of Death of a President (2006) by Hamad S — 19 Sep 2007
Range almost makes you believe you are watching a documentary on PBS. That is the only strength of the movie which is consistent. The story does have a twist at the end, but until then it lacks depth and the ability to provoke thought.
The piece is political, but also about politics, and here the movie does a good job of stepping out of itself and questioning it's own structure and assumptions as a product of it's time.
