Review of Death of a President (2006) by Anwar P — 27 Oct 2007
When I had first heard of this movie, I wondered why it was such a secret (I couldn't even Google it for some reason!).
Now, it presents such an interesting topsy turvy look at the fallout of the assassination of President Bush. I watched Sicko just before watching this, and although Sicko does pale in comparison to Fahrenheit 9-11 in consideration of bias, this film was far less biased than Sicko, which means it's mild.
But I like bias, because I believe that is an accurate reflection of the society watching the film. This mocumentary does seem to hit it on the nose without being too political or biased.
Another one of those films that is our duty as citizens to watch and pick apart, and see what it really means for us. Did I mention well done?
