Review of Death of a President (2006) by Jenni P — 14 Jan 2008
Extremely well-done piece of film by the British director Gabriel Range. Interesting, thought-provoking, a bit disturbing at parts, but never a clear-cut agenda against the Bush Administration. It is also not anti-American.
It is merely portraying a story in which Bush is assassinated, and his assassination is a catalyst for social reflection and a nation's need for answers and catharsis. The editing for the film is remarkable and I think it's a shame this film is overlooked because of the nature of the beast.
