Review of Death of a Nation (2018) by Ed A — 09 Aug 2018
A brilliant academic examination of how fascism's roots are progressive. The Nazi's used Southern Democrat Jim Crow laws along with American eugenics and discrimination to help draft their "Final Solution" laws and policies. This became the basis for the Holocaust and the racial cleansing of the Nazis. Dinesh D'Souza also directly disputes "the big lie" perpetrated by Democrats about the mythic "southern strategy" and turn of the Dixiecrats.
The movie is beautifully shot and scored. D'Souza's voice overs are blended beautifully with historical re-enactments along with blending of historical photos integrated into the current day. The academic rigor of such a myth-busting undertaking requires that D'Souza cite all sources, which he does through a website reference at the end of his movie. The movie closes with the single most beautiful rendition of The Battle Hymn of the Republic I've ever heard. Stunning!
I give this my highest recommendation! Take your Democrat friends; it'll be a real education for them.
