Very historically inaccurate. Lincoln was NOT elected to end slavery and D'Souza doesn't even mention that the Democrats of yesteryear are the Republicans today due to the backlash of Reconstruction and and the Civil Rights movement snd "overreach" of Federal power.

There was a switch of ideology between the late 1860's and 1936. How can a movie be accurate when it's premise starts off flawed. I understand the need to mobilize and energize your base but feeding them lies is questionable and downright unethical and seems to be the bread & butter of the new Republican party.

They like their constituents uninformed, misinformed and ignorant of FACTS. Makes them easy to rile up and control. Very sad!
