Review of Death of a Nation (2018) by Sherry W — 10 Aug 2018
I was so disappointed in this film; had seen his two previous films and loved them. I am sorry but D"Soza take on Lincoln and focusing on slavery as the only thread of the Civil War and that Lincoln was a strong leader isn't all true. Lincoln was a depressed man who had bouts of depression, extended times of not leaving his room.
The music by his wife, the gospel choir? It is all over the place. His other films I wanted to see again and left the theater uplifted; this film...I couldn't wait for it to end.
