I was hesitant to see this film based on the RT critics' reviews but I'm glad I saw it. As a retired attorney and history buff, I found it refreshing to hear things about American history and world history I had never known. I simply don't understand why every RT critic would be dismissive of this film unless they simply don't want to believe the truth because Mr. D presents historical documentary evidence to support his arguments. Even if you disagree with his conclusions, there is no denying the existence of tape recordings, letters and books by the likes of Hitler, Mussolini, FDR, Woodrow Wilson, The Clintons, various media outlests, etc. that consistently appear in the film along with interviews with respected authorities.

I usually go to the movies once a week with my 15 year old son and we both found this entertaining and interesting, talking about it over dinner. I thought we might be the only ones in the theater but were surprised to see that the it was about one half full.

I would advise ignoring the critics because this movie is better than many I've seen this year, the production value was high with very good reenactments, and the movie flows smoothly to connect the dots in a revelatory way. As it is said, history repeats itself and you see that today. Radical socialism has recently become popular just as it did in 1930s Nazi Germany and Italy. Uniformed and masked violent fascist gangs are terrorizing those who speak just like the Black Shirts of Mussolini and the Brown Shirts of the Nazis.

The bottom line is if you're a Democrat and/or liberal you're not going to like this movie unless you view it with an open mind. If you're a conservative and/or Republican, or simply a patriotic American, you're going to leave feeling proud to be so as I was.

One last thing is that I've concluded that you can't even trust movie critics anymore. It seems that they are either politically biased or they are bought and paid for by the studios. For example, if you look at the reviews of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, you'll see the huge disparity between critics and audience, currently at 90% vs. 46%. I thought it was simply an awful movie and so did the people.

In the end, I think this film will become a forbidden fruit which will only make it more appealable and sought out.
