Review of Death of a Nation (2018) by Ed M — 17 Aug 2018
The movie shows facts about historic events that are widely unknown or have been buried to ensure a certain narrative has been touted in American History. D'Souza connects dots that make you think about how history has been skewed and twisted, and you'll find yourself wanting to know more about these facts that D'Souza has dug up. The movie does a great job of re-enacting historic events and you find yourself captivated at where he will connect these dots with current events.
There were two parts towards the end that drag a little and feel like flag-waving-America-loving force feeding, but afterwards the movie dives back in to more hidden facts and dot connecting. A must watch for those that are wondering why America seems to be tearing itself apart from the inside out, it may just shine some light on some of the issues we are seeing in today's media.
