Review of Death of a Nation (2018) by Alexbarnhart — 18 Aug 2018
An admittedly low budget film but D'Souza does a lot with it. He exposes the hypocrisy of the extreme left which rules both Hollywood, the Democratic Party and the RINO's in the GOP. If your locked into that belief bubble of hate the left so often espouses about America being the cause of all the ills of the world and anything opposing a progressive-socialist agenda is just fascist, then this movie is not for you.
If your teacher has been using Howard Zinns hate America text than it is likely you will not find it redeeming. The definitions have been undergoing changes in both the movies and in our colleges, universities, so confusion is expected.
D'Souza knows this and apparently most reviewers know little about the real history of this country anyway. If you are looking to challenge your critical thinking skills you have to look for input you won't get inside the bubble you are in.
AS those in the walk-away movement continue to testify, they have challenged themselves and found that the left has lied to them. For the betterment of this country take a trip to the theater and check out this movie, perhaps even take notes and compare later.
