If you can follow it past the first twenty minutes, through some atrocious set up, hammy acting, stereotypical characters and poorly written dialogue, it actually transforms into a halfway decent haunted house story.
There are some truly disturbing things in here, although most of it could be written off as an Amityville rip-off.
