Terrible adaptation of the source material.
As a film it's boring, stupid, edgy in a lame way, the characters are dumb or unlikable (save for L, who's only slightly dumb), and it's only saving grace is the visuals, but they're not worth it to see the movie.
Also, the worst on-the-nose music choices ever made for a film trying to be serious.
