I have a lot of issue with this movie. Its americanized. Light turner? Mia? NO! Why would you change shit like that. Lights mom is dead. Wasnt that way in the origanal. They changed so much shit and I get that making ryuk would have been hard but he looks so gross when he isnt just lurking in the shadows.
They should have had it based in japan with the proper nationality of Japanese people portraying the characters. I get condensing an entire movie into a series is hard but there is no intensity, its just one big boring blur.
Too many changes to the story. I think the only good thing about it is William Dafoe as Ryuks voice.
