Review of Death Note (2017) by Liam C — 26 Aug 2017
To see one of my most favourite animes and mangas as a netflix film adaption was awesome to hear it's not the best anime adaption out there but With some good casting like Willem Dafoe as Ryuk and Keith Stanfield as L it still doesn't make this a good film it's an alright time but either should have been longer or a tv show instead I adam wingard is a good director and I could see in interviews he cared about the anime but I feel his American adoption is not good the whole love story was not needed, light isn't always smart about his decision and the movie just fast forward's through the important decisions of light becoming Kira all in all a alright anime adaption which if there was a sequel or any idea of doing this again needs to read reviews or listen to the fans on what they want for this fantastic anime.
