Review of Death Note (2017) by Jesse D — 30 Aug 2017
It's not the worst movie ever but leaves a lot to be desired. Acting fluctuates between surprisingly good and terrible, dialogue is questionable, and the main character Light is an unlikable baby. The movie seems to be trying really hard to be dark but ends up so shallow by the end that it's more campy than anything.
It's better than the 2006 live-action movie at least... Really setting the bar high there lol.
