Totally underrated movie. First you've got a superb cast. Secondly you've got a master Director. Thirdly you've got digital effects that were absolutely cutting-edge for the time, and still stand up reasonably well today (even if you can duplicate the effects pretty easily these days on your home computer.).
And to top it off, it's pretty funny.
